I had to go off to the doctors this morning because my foot isn't getting any better. If anything, it's actually more painful now than it was initially. I have been feeling quite a bit better these past few days, practically zero symptoms at all. Therefore, I decided to risk it and drove to the cinema to see X-Men: Days of Future Past because I was desperate to see it before it left. I rang the doctor's surgery this afternoon to see if they had the results of my blood test. I actually managed to speak to the doctor again about it and she said it had all come back normal. My haemoglobin is good (154, whatever that means) and my white cell count was fine so there's no infection. When I saw her on Monday, she'd asked me if I ( Read more... )

After my GP said yesterday about having a blood test to check for post-surgery anaemia, I thought it would be best to get it done asap. Apparently there's 4 places I can go now to get stabbed: the surgery itself (but only on Fridays before 10.30am), a local clinic (but only on Wednesdays before 12.30pm), the hospital or a new health centre that ( Read more... )

In my last post-surgery update post, I mentioned that I was having dizzy spells. They got steadily worse that week and by weekend, I was feeling really lousy.
